Changhua County boasts rich renewable energy resources. The experience of Northumberland, UK shows that new energy development does not come overnight. Northumberland was only able to give impetus to the relevant renewable energy industry chain after nearly 20 years of efforts. Due to its proximity to the North Sea, the UK National Renewable Energy Centre was dedicated to research and testing and also set up in Northumberland, facilitating local industrial development and employment with the competitive advantage of the port and the establishment of the high-end research and testing center.
