A series of activities for “2023 Wanggong Festival” were held by the Changhua County Government in Wanggong Village, Fangyuan Township on July 15th and July 16th, among which, Ocean Concert kicked off at Wanggong Fishing Port on 15th at 6:00 pm, attended by County Mayor Wang HuiMei and others. Singers such as Twinkling Ting (謝金晶), IVAN (艾文), LEE, MIUSA and Andrew Tan (陳勢安) performed enthusiastically, bringing a climax to the concert. Moreover, there were brilliant and eye-catching fireworks and drone show at 8:00 pm. According to the mobile phone data of Chunghwa Telecom, there were at least 100,000 people participating at night and hence the estimated amount of tourists in a single day was about 200,000 from day to night, presenting huge business opportunities. County Mayor Wang invited everyone to seize the opportunity to participate in the exciting activities held next day (16th), roam around Changhua and experience the new charm of fishing village culture. 
 
“Wanggong Festival includes many interesting activities for both adults and children, such as Buffalo Carriage Experience in Intertidal Zone, Oysters Grilling, Pray-for-Blessings Carnival with free local dishes tasting and small inflatable water slide at Fuhai Temple, and 30-meter-long air cushion facilities “Cool Castle” and “Swan Float” at Wanggong Fishing Port. Don't worry about not having enough fun in the first day, just stay for one night, and there are exciting activities next day (16th). Thanks to Hong FuYi, chairman of the Fangyuan Fuhai Temple, and his team for providing tourists free oyster porridge and other local delicacies. Thanks to the Changhua Fisheries Association for sponsoring the fireworks show and drone show. Lastly, thanks to the Fangyuan Township Office for its full support and the county government team for their great effort. I sincerely invited everyone to come to Wanggong to taste the most famous pearl oysters and also to participate in Wanggong Festival” said County Mayor Wang. 　　 　　 
 
Every year, Wanggong Festival always attracts a large number of tourists from all over Taiwan to participate in the grand event. The most famous ocean concerts in Taiwan are held in Gongliao (northern Taiwan), Wanggong (central Taiwan) and Kenting (southern Taiwan) respectively, making Wanggong Fishing Port very famous now. 　　 　　 
 
Kindly be reminded that the Wanggong Festival would be crowded with people. The Changhua County Government had set up shuttle stations at designated locations and provided free shuttle buses.
