2025 Flowers in Changhua - Floral Narratives (2025花在彰化－花繪城事), the best Lunar New Year event, will grandly take place at Xizhou Park from January 29th (Lunar New Year's Day) to February 12th (the 15th day of the Lunar New Year). This morning (the 16th), the County Government held a publicity press conference at the atrium of the Changhua County Police Department, with County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei and guests unveiled the event's highlights. Mayor Wang introduced “2025 Flowers in Changhua” as the best event for Lunar New Year! From the first day to the 15th day of the Lunar New Year, Xizhou Park will be open to the public for free from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This event will have two significant highlights. The first highlight is themed 'Floral Narratives,' where flowers are used as brushes to illustrate the tales of Changhua, allowing Changhua’s beauty to flourish in all its glory. The flower exhibition incorporates principles of sustainability and design, offering a dazzling floral feast that features a spectacular array of flowers and merges floral art, sustainability concepts and immersive experiences. The second highlight is an array of exciting carnivals, including six holiday carnival themed parties, performances by four international teams, and distinctive markets. The public from across the country is invited to visit Changhua during the Lunar New Year to admire the flowers, embark on a treasure hunt, and savor delectable culinary delights. The six holiday carnival themed parties are as follows: the Picnic Carnival on January 29th, the Oriental Carnival on January 30th, the Family Carnival on January 31st, the Rock n' Roll Carnival on February 1st, the Book Carnival on February 2nd, and the Pet Carnival on February 9th. Additionally, there will be special holiday limited markets, such as the puncar (food truck) market on January 29th, the traditional street food market on January 30th and the pet market on February 9th. The activity for the Picnic Carnival, which will debut on the first day of the Lunar New Year, is now open for registration. Participants will receive a premium picnic mat and a set of tableware. Apart from tasting the fresh agricultural products from Changhua County Fresh Select (彰化優鮮) meticulously promoted by each farmers' association, and enjoying local delicacies, there will also be a digital stamp rally activity. Participants who complete the rally will have a chance to win surprise gifts in a lucky draw. Moreover, there will be performances by four international teams from Malaysia, Africa, South America, and the Philippines, offering attendees a world-class cultural experience without the need to travel abroad.
