As the warm spring breeze carries the fragrance of blooming tung trees, the 2025 Changhua Tung Blossom Festival reached its grand finale on Sunday, April 27th, with the spectacular "Tung Blossom Night" concert at Changhua County Stadium. The event featured the internationally acclaimed Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, a past Golden Melody Awards nominee, delivering an exquisite musical experience that seamlessly blended classical, folk, and film compositions. Changhua County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei attended the celebration, joining over 2,000 enthusiastic spectators in embracing the enchanting melodies. Each year from April to May, the tung blossoms of the Bagua Mountain Range blanket the landscape like delicate snow, creating a breathtakingly poetic scene. In celebration of this seasonal spectacle, the Changhua County Government organizes an array of Tung Blossom Festival activities at renowned viewing locations across the region every year. This year's festivities align with the Hakka Affairs Council's emphasis on the intrinsic connection between tung blossoms and human culture. Through an inspired fusion of art and music, this fleeting spring romance transforms from a visual delight into an emotionally resonant experience. By hosting exceptional cultural events such as Tung Blossom Night, the county seeks to encourage broader engagement with music and the arts, enriching daily life with creative expression and deepening the cultural significance of the Tung Blossom Festival.
