The Changhua County Government’s “2025 Rural Tourism Proposal Hub” initiative, part of its agritourism development program, recently held a results exhibition in the atrium of the county government hall. County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei personally presented Gold, Silver, and Bronze Med medals, along with Merit Awards. County Mayor Wang remarked, “Changhua has so much to offer—we’ve just been too low-key in the past.” She expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture for its long-term support of Changhua's agritourism, to the Speaker and council members for their budgetary backing, and to all agritourism zones, farms, and travel channel partners for their collective efforts in promoting agricultural tourism in Changhua. By integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism, the county has crafted a unique agritourism brand for Changhua. Eleven curated travel itineraries have been launched, linking the tourism industry with the upcoming 2025 Taiwan Design Expo. Visitors to Changhua will not only enjoy the exhibition but also venture into the countryside to experience the region’s distinctive customs and character. This year, five teams were recognized for their innovative service design that deepens the “from origin to experience” concept, transforming agricultural strength into tourism appeal. The eleven itineraries have been commercialized and made available through travel platforms, forming a sustainable, scalable, and replicable system through “content enhancement, channel integration, and digital traffic flow.” This initiative positions “agricultural strength, tourism appeal, and learning potential” as hallmarks of Changhua’s cultural identity. The Gold Award-winning “Rural Tourism RPG | Invitation from Top 100 Young Farmers (田間旅遊RPG|百大青農的邀請函)” showcases the deep integration of young farmers’ innovation with local rural landscapes; the Silver Award “Agriculture 1+1: Land-Based Co-Learning × Green Co-Creation (農業1+1:土地共學 × 綠色共創)” presents the value of collaborative agricultural education and environmental sustainability; the Bronze Award “Field Inspection Project – Circular Aesthetics Tour in Tianwei (巡田計畫-田尾的循環美學旅)” skillfully connects circular agriculture with local aesthetics; the Merit Awards “Doyuan Tipsy Fruit-Picking Mini Tour (斗苑微醺採果小旅行)” and “Flavors of the Land, Lessons from the Coast: Changhua Coastal Culinary Classroom (食在風土,學在沿海:彰化海線風味教室)” demonstrate the diverse aspects of rural experiences through light travel and cultural flavor. These itineraries are rich with the wisdom and creativity of the rural community, creating experiences that run "from farm to table" and seamlessly weave local culture into the travel experience.
