To celebrate the birthday of the beloved IP character Rody, the co-branding partner of the 2026 Changhua Moon Shadow Lantern Festival, the Changhua County Government will host the Rody Birthday Party on Saturday, February 14 at the vibrant Baguashan Sky Playground. Coinciding with Valentine’s Day, County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei warmly invites families, friends, and couples to enjoy the lantern displays, capture memorable photos, and share a joyful evening with Rody under the dazzling sea of lights. 
 
The event will feature a Rody Meet & Greet and an exciting clown magic show, offering children and adults the chance to interact closely with Rody and take commemorative photos, giving the birthday stars exclusive memories. Starting at 4:00 PM, unique Rody-themed mini lanterns will be distributed. In addition to the popular pink and blue designs, a special surprise yellow edition will be released randomly, adding fun and excitement for collectors. Supplies are limited, so don’t miss out! 
 
To enhance participation, attendees who join any of the following recruitment activities between 3:30–4:00 PM and complete a check-in will receive a full set of three Rody mini lanterns (including all three colors) and a Rody birthday cupcake: 
Activity 1: Birthday Stars Gathering - Show valid ID or proof if your birthday falls on February 14, the same day as Rody. 
Activity 2: Bring Your Rody to the Party - Bring your own officially licensed Rody inflatable horse to the venue. 
Mini lanterns and activity rewards are available in limited quantities and will be distributed while supplies last.
