The “Happy Children in Changhua – 2026 Family Theater Local Touring Series, “ launched by Changhua County Cultural Affairs Bureau, brought a lively performance to the Dacun Elementary School activity center. As the fifth performance in the series, it featured the distinctive O Theatre Company performing Alice: Eastern Wonderland. The production, filled with dreamlike stage effects and adventurous twists, captivated an audience of nearly a thousand. 
 
The County Mayor noted that every performance in this touring series has been met with enthusiastic responses and full houses, reflecting the strong local support for high-quality cultural events. This success demonstrates the county government’s commitment to fostering arts and culture at the grassroots level. The event aims to provide children with opportunities to experience diverse performing arts within familiar community settings, sparking imagination and cultivating aesthetic literacy that enriches the cultural character of the region. 
 
The remaining five performances will run from May 2 to May 23, traveling to Tianwei, Fenyuan, Ershui, Hemei, and Puyan. The series showcases a diverse lineup of troupes, including Kaleidoscope Theatre, Guang Xang Ge Puppet Show Troupe, Pingpengcao Theatre, Galaxy Valley Music Theatre, and Open Theater Group. All performances are free of charge and include a stamp rally: audiences who attend at least two performances can redeem a gift. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to share in laughter and heartfelt moments, creating cherished memories that nurture the seeds of art and culture in everyday life.
