To promote local coffee and Changhua's urban charm, the Changhua County Government held a press conference today (April 30) in the atrium of the county government hall to launch the Changhua Coffee Life Festival, attended by County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei and other distinguished guests. The festival runs from May 1 to June 30 and features the “Changhua Travel” LINE campaign of Changhua Coffee Map. The Map highlights nearly 90 specialty cafes across the county, creating a dedicated coffee guide. During the festival, visitors who spend NT$250 or more at a participating cafe and complete the stamp rally through the “Changhua Travel” LINE app can redeem a coffee gift pack or a cat mug rim spoon. Come to Changhua to taste the unique atmosphere of each cafe. 
 
The 90 featured cafes all boast online ratings of 4.5 stars or higher. Some are located in renovated historic buildings filled with vintage charm, while others reflect local culture and artistic creativity. To encourage wider participation, cafes interested in joining the festival may register until May 15. In addition, the county government is hosting a Popular Cafe Recommendation campaign on “Changhua Travel” Facebook fan page, inviting the public to recommend up to three of their favorite cafes in Changhua. Participants will have the chance to win prizes such as semi-automatic coffee machines, coffee grinders, and moka pots. The Top 10 Most Popular Cafes, selected through public voting, will receive an official county seal of recognition. This honor not only recognizes their dedication to coffee culture but also serves as a trusted guide for future visitors exploring Changhua. With every corner of Changhua rich in culture, the festival invites people to use coffee as a gateway to discover the beauty of the county.
