The 2026 Wanggong Festival will be held on August 8–9. County Mayor Wang Hui-Mei sincerely invites visitors from across Taiwan to join this summer celebration, which combines music, cuisine, culture, religious faith, and light art. This year’s festival is specially scheduled for Father’s Day weekend, encouraging fathers to bring their families to experience the passion and vitality that make the Wanggong Festival so unique. This year’s event features six exciting highlights: 1. Ocean Concert: The festival’s most anticipated event, featuring 12 popular singers and bands, including 911 and Amazing Show, delivering an unforgettable musical extravaganza. 2. Interactive Meet-and-Greet with Popular IP Characters: Mr. Shark and his companions will interact with children and families and pose for photos on site. 3. Thousand-Person Oyster Roast: Savor Taiwan’s only organically certified Meretrix taiwanica clams, along with Changhua’s famous white-grilled eel. 4. Blessing Carnival at Fuhai Temple: Organized by the Fangyuan Township Office, this event features traditional blessing rituals and a divination block-throwing challenge, inviting everyone to pray for good fortune. 5. Father’s Day Exclusive Event: Fathers accompanied by their children can redeem a special offer coupon and a themed tote bag at the main stage service desk.
